What do I need to get started?
Test should be conducted in a wired environment and pc/laptop should have sleep, hibernate, hard disk sleep set to 'no' on Windows Machine.
- You will need a PC or Laptop connected to the internet in your company network.
- Download PingPlotter and obtain the 14-day trial license.
How do I begin the test?
- Once the application is opened, type 38.30.40.82 in the target input field and set the interval to 2.5 seconds and hit the play green icon. Leave this running for at least 4-5 hours.
It is recommended that you do this during the peak hours of your operation to get the best or accurate result
What do I have to do next?
- Once you have completed the testing hours and gathered enough data, you have to stop the PingPlotter by pressing on the pause orange button.
- Now you have to export the data. Go to File | Export Sample Set | All Data and save it on your computer.
- If you have an existing ticket, please response to the ticket or attach the exported data in your response. Otherwise, send the exported data to help@setelecom.ca
